Ribagolfe 1 & 2

Just a half hour drive from the centre of Lisbon and close to the Santa Estavao Golf Club, lie the two new Ribagolfe courses. The design of the course makes full use of the forest of Cork oak trees and the natural contours of the rolling landscape. Ribagolfe 2 is the less demanding of the two courses, but still well-designed and worth playing.

 

Ribagolfe 1 has narrow fairways lined by trees with huge bunkers protecting the greens, requiring accuracy. Water comes into play on several of the holes with the 12th needing a shot over a lake in order to find the green. A challenging course with the potential to become a tournament venue.
