Poniente

Its 6340 metre, par 72 layout was created by John Harris. Combining woodland, lakes, sweeping terrain and large, quick greens Poniente is a challening course for all levels of golfer.  The first four holes break you in gently but the course shows its true colours on the intriguing stretch between the 7th and 10th.

The 8th hole plays blind and steeply downhill with a ravine to the right.  Place your drive on the fairway and you'll have a medium iron left to a big green surrounded by palms and offering panoramic views.  Miss the fairway and watch your ball travel down the ravine and most likely out of sight!
