Valle del Este Review

Mr M Barron recently had a short break at
Valle del Este Golf Resort & Spa in
Almeria. It's always great to hear back from golfers after their holiday - take a look at Mr Barron's comments below :

We have recently returned from our break at
valle del este and thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you!
The hotel was excellent with very friendly staff and very good food. We did not visit the spa or the gym on this occasion. Maybe worth noting it only opens sun morning, closes monday and opens tuesday afternoon. It is open the rest of the week but not sure of the hours. This is not a complaint just thought it might be something worth mentioning to clients travelling with non golfers as these facilities may be important. We both rated the hotel highly.
The
golf course we both enjoyed. Greens and tees were in very good condition. The fairways were dry and brown following several cold frosty nights in the area. This did not spoil our enjoyment of the golf at all. The course was fairly challenging but not too difficult. We were lucky both with the weather and with our tee times and were not held up. There is only six minutes between tee times so I can imagine there could be long waits during peak times.
There is a small commercial centre adjacent to the hotel with an Indian and Spanish restaurant (both good!) and a couple of bars. We did not visit the hotelĀ“s beach bar.
In short, we would like to return to this hotel. It is only 2 hours from us so much less travelling than Montecastillo or Fairplay.
I did notice on your site an upgrade to FB with a drinks package. Is this basically AI or are there conditions?
